We have a number of options that we would like to draw your attention to:

  • There is a sauna, table tennis, table football, billiards and darts in the basement under Ny Fløj.
  • We have a bathing jetty at Alssund.
  • We have board games and petanque that you can use during your stay. Ask at the reception.
  • There are nice running and walking trails along Alssund and in our forest.
Nydamstien

 

Nydamstien is a beautiful seven-kilometer long hiking trail that also passes Nydam Mose. The trip offers a wealth of historical memories and nature experiences. The route starts at the gable of the Palace and follows Alssund northwards with a view of Als.

In Nydam Mose, archaeologist Conrad Engelhardt excavated two Iron Age boats and parts of a third in the years 1859-63. The Nydam boat, which is a unique 23-meter long boat, is one of the most important Iron Age finds in Denmark. Based on the find, a copy has been created, located only 2.5 kilometers from Sandbjerg Gods, and which can be experienced, for example, in connection with a hike along Nydamstien.

 
We have an ironing board and iron that you can borrow for your room.

  • Breakfast is served between 8 and 9 a.m.
  • Lunch is served between 12 and 1 p.m.
  • Dinner is served between 6 and 7 p.m.

NOTE: Since many people have locked themselves out in the evening, where we do not have a staffed reception, we have changed the locking principle:

  • You must lock yourself in as usual.
  • If you are in your room and want the door to be locked, press the “do not disturb button” just above the door handle.
  • Remember to lock the door with your key card when you leave the room.
  • Remember to hand in your key no later than 9 a.m. on the day of departure, so that our staff can make the room ready for our next guests.
