The Sandbjerg Estate - Aarhus University Conference Centre
The Sandbjerg Estate is operated as a private foundation, serving as the main conference centre for the University of Aarhus. Its facilities are, however, also available to organisations which are not related to the University.
Since being taken over by the University, the Manor House, the Tenant's house and, most recently, the former stables have been restored and converted to accommodate the needs of a modern conference centre.
The Manor House remains the main building. The ground floor comprises the course administrator's office, dining room, television room, library, study and a conservatory, which is used as a common room for the delegates and guests. The firstfloor houses group conference rooms and accommodation.
The Tenant's house contains meeting rooms and accommodation.
The Distillery holds a lecture theatre and the Inspector's House a meeting room and accomodation.
The Reception and the dining room are situated between The Stables and The Manor House.
In the former stables one wing holds a lecture theatre while the two other wings and the new wing provide accomodation. In the basement of the new wing there is a common room with sauna, television, table tennis, billiard table, etc.
The Sandbjerg Estate can provide accomodation for 105 people (74 rooms).
