By car from the E45 southbound:

Take exit 71 (Aabenraa S) towards Sønderborg (road no. 41). In the roundabout 9 km before Sønderborg turn towards Øster Sottrup and immediately follow the signs: Nydam Mose and Sandbjerg 4 km.

By car from E45 northbound:

Take exit 75 (Kruså) towards Sønderborg (road no. 8). Drive via Kruså, Rinkenæs and Egernsund to Broager. From here, turn north towards Nybøl and Vester Sottrup where there is a sign which reads: Sandbjerg 3 km.

About 2 hours by car from Hamburg.

By car westbound from Bøjden-Fynshav:

Immediately after the bridge over the Alssund, turn right towards Aabenraa (road no. 41). In Ragebøl 4.2 km from Sønderborg, there is a sign which reads: Sandbjerg 3 km.

By car from Billund Airport:

Approx. 1 hour and 45 min. by car from Billund (125 km)
From Billund follow road no. 176 towards Kolding. After approx. 40 km you take the access road to the motorway E45 towards Flensborg (green signs).
Follow E45 approx. 65 km.
Take exit 71 (Aabenraa S) towards Sønderborg (road no. 41). In the roundabout 9 km before Sønderborg turn towards Øster Sottrup and immediately on your right (after 15 meters only!) follow the signs: .Nydam Mose and Sandbjerg 4 km.

By car from Copenhagen Airport:

Approx. 3 hours and 30 min. by car from Copenhagen (318 km).
Follow motorway E20 towards Odense. After 119 km you cross The Great Belt. The Great Belt Bridge is a toll bridge (payment: cash or credit card). Stay on E20 direction Odense and Kolding.
After 230 km you take motorway E45 south direction Flensborg.
After 290 km take exit 71 (Aabenraa S) towards Sønderborg (road no. 41). In the roundabout 9 km before Sønderborg turn towards Øster Sottrup and immediately on your right (after 15 meters only!) follow the signs: .Nydam Mose and Sandbjerg 4 km.

By car from Flughafen Hamburg:

Approx. 2 hours by car from Hamburg (192 km)
From the airport towards A7. Acces road at Schnelsen-Nord direction Kiel/Flensborg. Follow A7 towards Flensburg.
After about 153 km you cross the Danish-German border. Having crossed the border you take exit 75 (Kruså) towards Sønderborg (road no. 8). Drive via Kruså,Rinkenæs, and Egernsund to Broager. From here, turn north towards Nybøl and on to Vester Sottrup from where you follow the sign: .Sandbjerg 3 km.
